Frequently Asked Questions

You can book your journey with Rencq up to 2 hours in advance before your desired pick-up time:
- By visiting our website
- By email at support@rencq.com

Via the Rencq website:
Visit the homepage of our website and follow these steps :
- Fill in the booking form by entering your pick-up and drop-off addresses, select the date and time of your pick-up, then confirm.
- After validating the form, select your service category, enter your personal details, and choose your payment method.
- Complete your booking by following the payment page instructions.

Once your payment is processed, you will immediately receive an email confirming your reservation.
On the day of your journey, you will receive an texting message (SMS) with your chauffeur's contact details and the vehicle’s registration number as he approaches, followed by a final SMS upon his arrival.

It is not yet possible to pay for a journey directly with the chauffeur at Rencq.

To modify your Rencq booking, you must cancel your initial journey and book a new one.
Important :

Changing the date, time, or route when making a new booking may result in a price adjustment from the original fare.
- If you cancel a pre-booked ride less than two hours before the scheduled pickup time, cancellation fees will apply.
For assistance with canceling your booking, contact our customer care service, available 7 days a week from 7 AM to 11 PM immediately via our chatbot (at the bottom right of the page).

Once your booking is confirmed, you will automatically receive a confirmation email. If you cannot find this email, please check your spam folder. You can also contact us now via live chat (icon at the bottom right of the page)

You can book a journey with Rencq for someone else. However, you will be considered the official passenger for the journey and will receive :
-
The booking confirmation
- The chauffeur's arrival notifications
- The invoice for the booked journey.
The person you are booking for (the actual passenger) will not receive the chauffeur’s notifications and will not be able to contact him directly. On the day of the ride, the actual passenger(s) must meet the chauffeur as soon as you receive the texting message confirming his arrival at the pick-up location.

It is not yet possible to book a ride with intermediate stops with Rencq.

As soon as your cancellation is confirmed, we automatically process your refund. The refund is issued to the payment card used at the time of booking, minus any applicable cancellation fees if the cancellation is made too close to the pickup time. The refunded amount will usually appear in your bank account within 2 to 7 days. If you have not received your refund after this period, please contact our customer care service team.

To book a round-trip ride, we invite you to book your outbound  and return journeys separately using the form available on our website's homepage.

Rencq allows you to book your journey up to 2 hours in advance before your desired pick-up time. At this time, immediate booking is not available.

Booking in advance with Rencq means traveling with peace of mind and security.
- Easily plan and organize your journeys by booking up to 2 hours in advance.
- Set your exact departure time with precision.
- No unexpected costs: the price displayed at booking is final and guaranteed.

Rencq encourages you to make a new booking through our online system in the following cases:
- You would like your chauffeur to wait for you and take you to another address.
- You would like to travel with the same chauffeur for your return journey.
- You want to book another journey with the same chauffeur

How to proceed :
- Start your booking by entering your pickup and drop-off addresses, then select your service category.
- Then, enter your chauffeur’s first name or any other distinctive detail in the "Comments" field of the form (after your personal information).

For example, you can write: "I would like to travel again with …, thank you.”

Rencq will do its best to accommodate your request, subject to the chauffeur’s availability on the requested date and time. Please note: bookings must be made through Rencq and not directly with your chauffeur. Rencq cannot process bookings made directly with the driver.
⚠️ Important : Rencq cannot be held responsible for any incident occurring during a journey with a Rencq partner chauffeur if the booking was not made through our platform (see our T&Cs).

At Rencq, we understand the importance of flexibility when planning your travels. You may cancel your booking free of charge up to two hours before your scheduled pickup time. However, beyond this timeframe, cancellation fees will apply:
- Cancellation between 1 and 2 hours before your scheduled pickup : 50% of the fare.
- Cancellation less than 1 hour before your scheduled pickup :  75% of the fare.
